Dear Friends! Once again we said “Good Bye” to the winter and welcomed spring by an extraordinary celebration of Maslenitsa.
This year more people joined the celebration, we definitely had more fun and the pancakes were super delicious! Everyone, from children to adults, could share the happiness of taking part in competitions. The culmination of the festival was the traditional burning of an effigy of Maslenitsa and unification of everyone in traditional happy dance to the native songs.
We’d like to express our gratitude to Mr. F. Paulsen (honourable counsellor of RF in Lausanne) for his support and tender words.
