As part of the water festival, will set a holiday table with fruit desserts, useful and tasty drinks, sweets.
We will present the direct culprit celebration – of Neptune, and all his numerous retinue, which includes devils and mermaids. Heroes of the holiday will be naughty and have fun, because their task is to pull more people into the water, wet or splash guests. Please grab swimsuits and towels!
The festival program consists of two parts: the sports, entertainment and gaming. You will enjoy the fun, mischievous holiday, filled with a variety of contests and competitions, loved both by children and adults.
History of the festival
Neptune Holiday, sometimes – “Neptune Day”. Water festival Takes the basics of the tradition of sailors crossing the equator. According to established tradition, everyone crossing the equator for the first time on the sea, will be initiated. Newbie is bathed in seawater (or thrown it in the pool, as during cruise), then he crawls through the dirt compartment, smeared with engine oil. After that, he gets a print of Neptune and a certificate of passing the tradition.
At the next intersection of the equator one is exempt from the ritual upon presentation of “identity.”
Much less a holiday is arranged in “crossing the line” – Tropic, the Arctic Circle, Date Line.
